Weekly Update
/Firstly, a happy New Year to everyone, we hope this is a great year for everyone at the Club.
There is training for the Seniors Wednesday with the swim session from 20.00 – 21.00 then Polo from 21.00 – 22.00.
Training on Saturday is at the normal time. Juniors from 4 – 5.30 and Seniors from 5.30 – 7 PM.
There is also the Junior Men Swim Set in Swansea on Saturday (7th Jan)
Welsh Water Polo Clinic takes place this Sunday, starting at 11.00 and going on until 14.00, don’t forget, the 2003 and younger players are also expected to attend Clinic from now on.
The Club is entering teams into the Welsh league and the Bristol and West league this year, so we can expect a lot of polo matches in the very near future.
The following teams are being entered for competitions this year:
- 2002 and younger, mixed, into the Welsh League
- 1999 and younger, mixed, into the Welsh League
- 2001 and younger, mixed, into the Bristol and West League
- Seniors, Mens, into the Welsh League
- Seniors, Mens, into the Bristol and West League
We have had dates for the 2000’s Inter Regions, 2001’s NAG’s, 1999 NAG’s and 2000’s EU Nationals, so we have amended the calendar and attached the new version to this e-mail. It may be subject to change, this is the second set of dates we have received already, but I will let you know as and when it does change.
James and Isaac attend the Bristol and West League meeting next week which normally allows us to have our matches planned for the year of BWWPL fixtures. Good luck guys. As son as we have an update we will send it on.
RTC Starts in both Newport and Carmarthen on 13th January.
