Newton Abbott V Newport Juniors 15 - 3 Loss

Newport went away with a depleted team due to injuries and holidays, which saw only 9 players able to take to the water, half of which were under 14.

Still, the guys put on a great performance and all tired their best, against one of the strongest teams on the league. 

thank you to all who played, for being prepared to enter the water, and thank you to your support teams, parents, for taking the time to travel and support the team.

Cheltenham V Newport Seniors 11 - 9 Loss

A tense match throughout. Cheltenham had drafted in some support after the last match. At the end of the 1st Chukka Cheltenham led by 4 - 1. Newport clawed their way back into the game to lead by 8 - 7 at the end of the 3rd chukka.  however, a very close last chukka saw Cheltenham finish ahead 11 - 9. good game and great effort shown by all.

Newport V Cwm Draig KO Cup, 24 - 26 Loss

Newport started the game with a 15 point handicap, due to the relative positions within the league. starting the game down 15 points could be daunting to most teams, but the Seniors approached it with determination. During the game, Newport scored 24 to Cwm Draig's 11, but the handicap saw through and Cwm Draig, due to the handicap, won the encounter by 24 - 26.

Exeter V Newport Juniors 13 - 11 Loss

What a match. action from start to finish. The players all threw everything into it. Well done to you all. Only 8 players available to travel to Exeter, but what a performance you all put it !!! We hope that Jack recovers soon, he suffered a nasty kick to the ribs and back, hopefully not too much damage.

What a fantastic game, in which all, from 1 - 13 can feel proud to have been a part.

Top Scorer was Chris Taylor with 12 goals

Major King was Lewis Jones, with his 3 majors, and then his attempt to rejoin the match to see if he could up his count to 4.
