Waterpolo Update Thursday 19th April 2018

Congratulations to the six boys who competed in the National Age Group competitions in Manchester last weekend, it was a fantastic weekend of waterpolo.

Toby S captained the 2000 team which included Luke T and Ollie C. The team had a fantastic tournament winning each match and reaching the final which they won! https://twitter.com/Swim_England/status/985197583671930880

Ben T, Jack K and Toby C played in the 2002 team, all boys were playing above their age. The team had a great competition winning their first two matches and only losing their last game to a very strong team. Well done boys you played brilliantly!

This week we have upcoming matches for our 2nds and 2000 teams. 2000s are away to Cwm Draig on Saturday. Junior training is Sunday 1pm - 2.30pm followed by the 2nds match against South Gloucester.

Please check the waterpolo club calendar for training times and match times and venues. We have a very busy few weeks ahead with training and matches across the ages in Welsh and Bristol & West Leagues, please check the calendar on the website to keep up to date. http://www.newportswimmingclub.co.uk/calendar/
